WACA launches technical reports on mangroves in Ghana and Guinea Conakry

Four technical reports were prepared under WACA to estimate the economic value of mangrove areas in Guinea and Ghana and understand the role of women in mangroves’ conservation and restoration. The reports were prepared WACA with financial support from the Global Program on Sustainability (GPS) and Wealth Accounting and the Valuation of Ecosystem Services (WAVES), and PROBLUE Trust Fund. PROBLUE is an umbrella trust fund that supports a sustainable and integrated development of marine and coastal resources in healthy oceans.
